Piercing Infection – Defeating the Purpose

While body piercing can be seen as an attractive embellishment, there is nothing glamorous about a piercing infection, an unfortunate but rather common side effect. In fact, in 2008, health officials in the UK reported that 1 in 3 young people with a body piercing experienced medical complications.
